Best fruit cocktail recipes:-
Fruit-infused cocktails are often served as the first course of a meal, usually at lunch or dinner, before a soup course. In warm weather, they are a great alternative to heavy cocktails made with lobster or crab, and they can also be used to replace soup courses. The fruits used for this purpose should be more acidic, as the acid and flavorings are intended to increase appetite or serve the same purpose that hot and highly seasoned soups are taken. Fruit cocktails should always be served ice cold.

Grapefruit Cocktail:-
The cocktails mentioned here can be served in stemmed glasses or grapefruit. If using the peel, cut grapefruit in half, center between flower and stem, remove fruit and cut away edges of peel. This cocktail serving plan should only be adopted if smaller grapes are used, as larger rinds will require more fruit than is acceptable for the cocktail.
2 grapefruits 2 oranges 1 c. chopped pineapple, fresh or canned powdered sugar
Remove the pulp from grapefruit and oranges. However, if using grapefruit rind to serve the cocktail, cut the grapefruit in half and then scoop out the pulp with a sharp knife. As you remove the fleshy parts, cut each into several pieces. Add the chopped pineapple to the other fruits, mix well, and set on ice until completely cooled. Strain into a cocktail glass or decanter, top each serving with a teaspoon or two of orange juice, sprinkle with powdered sugar, garnish with a cherry, and serve ice cold.
Summer Cocktail:-
Since strawberries and pineapple are available fresh at the same time during the summer, they are often used together in cocktails. Sweetened slightly with powdered sugar and allowed to chill over ice, these fruits make a delicious combination.
2 c. fresh pineapple 2 c. chopped strawberries powdered sugar
Prepare a fresh pineapple and cut each piece into small pieces or dice. Wash and cut the strawberries into small pieces. Combine the two fruits and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Pour into a cocktail glass and let stand over ice before serving.
